There are more than 600 species of oaks. All of them grow naturally only in the Northern Hemisphere. Botanists divide oaks into two general groups: <I>white oaks</I> and <I>red oaks.</I> Three species of oaks are illustrated here. The drawings include the leaf and the acorn of each species.<NP>
